There are two basic types of offers to choose from when purchasing a Windows Azure platform subscription:
- Consumption offers - no commitment required, you pay only for what you use
- Commitment offer - significantly discounted level of service in return for a six month commitment to pay a monthly base fee. Any usage in excess of this amount is charged at our the standard consumption rates.
There is also an 'Introductory Special' - the easiest way to get started with Windows Azure. It includes a fixed amount of services at no cost after which you just pay at standard consumption rates. Find out more about this offer
