Login here once you have signed up to Dip into Windows Azure and received your login details.
When you login to your account for the first time you will see a ‘Personal Website’ sample application has been loaded for you. This website is based on an ASP.Net website which has been adapted and built as an Azure application. You will see how easy it is to upload photos and compare an Azure website application to a standard ASP.Net website application.
We recommend you also view the Azure Tutorial as a place to get started with your own Azure development.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Preparing your browser – Before you sign in to your Azure trial, you must sigh out of any existing Live ID accounts and then prepare your web browser. Skipping these steps will result in either an error message at sign-in, or it will automatically sign you into your personal Windows Live ID account which will not have a Windows Azure token and sample application allocated. You can prepare your browser in one of the following ways:
Clear out your browser cookies
In Internet Explorer 7 or 8: Go to Tools > Internet Options and then, under Browsing History, click Delete or press CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE from your browser
- In Firefox: Go to Tools > Clear recent history or press CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE from the browser
Or, enable InPrivate browsing mode in Internet Explorer 8 by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + P from within your IE.
- InPrivate mode creates a session with its own blank cookie sandbox each time it is opened. InPrivate mode is recommended if you have cookies that you do not wish to delete.
When you sign in you may be prompted to reset your password. If you do this, you must clear your cookies again and close your browser. Open a new browser and navigate to the sign-in URL again and sign in.
